Senior Manager, Data & Analytics

Senior Manager leading Enterprise Data Strategy & Engineering initiatives at Amgen. Translates business priorities into scalable data, analytics, and AI solutions while partnering across business and technical teams to deliver measurable value in life sciences.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery with business owners and translate priorities into product vision and measurable success criteria
- Deliver scalable data products and governed enterprise data capabilities across cloud platforms
- Partner with engineering teams to evaluate and implement agentic data engineering and AI capabilities
- Define and track adoption, operational, and business-value metrics for assigned initiatives
- Manage cross-functional collaboration, roadmap alignment, and post-launch enhancement prioritization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years data engineering, information systems, or analytics experience
- Minimum 2 years direct people management or team leadership experience
- Life sciences industry experience delivering data and analytics solutions
- Demonstrated delivery of cross-functional initiatives from discovery through production
- Technical expertise with Databricks, AWS, Power BI, and cloud platforms
- Strong business acumen and life sciences domain knowledge
