Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern hospital facility in El Paso, where you will find a commitment to patient-centered care and a culture of continuous improvement. Our experienced nursing team operates within a fast-paced environment, offering 24/7 care to patients. You will work a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts, totaling approximately 36 to 40 hours each week, which allows us to provide comprehensive care while promoting work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions, utilizing clinical judgment and advanced nursing skills.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Order and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies, to inform clinical decisions.
• Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate therapies, maintaining a focus on safety and efficacy.
• Deliver patient education regarding disease prevention, treatment options, medication management, and post-discharge care, empowering patients to actively participate in their health management.
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds, contributing your insights and recommendations as part of a cohesive care team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring adherence to documentation standards and legal requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and organizational efficiency, utilizing best practices in nursing.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in clinical practice and healthcare regulations to inform your nursing practice and contribute to the team's knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will interact with a wide range of patients, from those experiencing acute medical emergencies to individuals managing chronic health conditions. Qualifications

• A current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and an active state nursing license are required to practice within Texas.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is mandatory, with a preference for candidates possessing a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• A minimum of two years of experience is essential, ideally in a hospital or acute care setting, demonstrating your readiness for this role and clinical proficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical to effective collaboration with the healthcare team and meaningful patient interactions.
• A strong foundation in critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to develop appropriate nursing interventions in complex situations.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with three to five years of clinical experience in a hospital environment will be strongly preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and prior involvement in quality improvement initiatives will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 120,000 and 220,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
