Senior Project Scheduler - Nuclear Projects

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed schedules for nuclear projects to ensure compliance with technical specifications and maintenance rules.
  • Assist in maintaining lifecycle project schedules and ensuring their integrity.
  • Implement scheduling methodology based on industry best practices.
  • Support project scheduling for biennial refueling outages.
  • Work with project managers to develop and update schedules for online, outage, and life-cycle projects.
  • Ensure schedules are accurate, coherent, and timely, meeting project requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide support in the upkeep of schedules, maintaining high levels of accuracy and alignment with the project’s goals.
  • Assist with integrating scheduling tools like Passport and Primavera, ensuring smooth data transfer and schedule updates.
  • Collaborate with teams, disciplines, and plant organizations to develop integrated plant schedules.
  • Communicate project schedules, risks, and technical details to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Skills:

  • Primavera Scheduling Tools: Proficiency in Primavera 106 (or equivalent) and Passport scheduling program interface.
  • Work Management Software: Experience with Passport or similar systems used for work management and interfaces with scheduling tools.
  • Project Management Software: Familiarity with scheduling, report development, and database management tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, SQL-based query reports).
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of risk management processes within nuclear project scheduling.
  • Preventative Maintenance Program: Understanding of Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program.
  • Report Development: Ability to develop reports using Crystal Reports or similar software.
  • Scheduling Methodology: Experience with implementing best practices in scheduling methodologies for nuclear power projects.
  • Work Control Procedures: Knowledge of work control processes, system isolations, testing, and equipment restoration procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and project schedules both verbally and in writing.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma.
