Contacts vendors to perform services and researches potential changes to vendor list; purchases and tracks inventory of company owned fixtures and equipment; monitors repair and maintenance costs to ensure budget constraints are met. Informs facilities management of escalated and/or on-going maintenance or vendor issues and makes recommendations for improvement. Set-up and organize satellite store data within the facilities management software program. Source vendors and establish maintenance contracts for HVAC, Pest Control, Window Washing, Fire Alarm inspections, etc for satellite stores. Obtains and review quotes. Assist with the management of construction and renovation projects at existing YCC satellite retail locations and Home Fragrance facilities. Duties include: reviewing contracts, awarding contracts to general contractors, reviewing/approving invoices, reviewing/approving construction material quotes, managing projects ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.Scope: Responsible for resolving satellite store and Home Fragrance facility maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure a satisfactory selling and working environments. Must adhere to satellite store maintenance and renovation budgets. Review performance of contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Maintain a continuous open line of communication (24/7 availability) to insure resolution of issues. Exercise discretion in the handling of confidential YCC information.Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma, or equivalent experience, Associates degree or Bachelors degree a plus. Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Computer literate in MS Excel, Word, Project, Power Point, Teams. Above average attention to detail and organizational skills with a pro-active approach to decision-making with the ability to pro-actively prioritize competing demands in real time. Previous experience in retail store maintenance dispatching or similar experience a plus. Basic knowledge of ADA and Building Department codes. Basic knowledge of Building Automation Systems and/or HVAC systems a plus. Ability to prioritize work and the work of others in a demanding fast paced environment. Flexibility in work schedule is required including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational need may require. The position also requires responsibility of after- hours coverage on a rotating basis with other ServiceDesk staff.Notice: This position is subject to a criminal background check and potentially and an education verification as part of the application process. The Massachussets base pay range for this position is from $20.50 to $28.05. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
