What You'll Do:

• Provide full-service cardiothoracic and vascular surgical care, including coronary artery bypass, valve repairs, aneurysm repairs, lung resections, and other advanced procedures
• Manage perioperative care and evaluate patients requiring urgent surgical intervention
• Perform diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures like bronchoscopy and endarterectomies
• Collaborate with hospital staff and support staff to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call coverage, ensuring prompt response to emergent cases
• Document procedures accurately in the EPIC system

What You Need:

• Valid medical license in Ohio
• Board certification or eligibility in Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in complex cardiothoracic procedures
• Strong clinical skills in invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment

About the Assignment:

You will provide emergency and scheduled cardiothoracic and vascular surgical care at a full-service acute care hospital with 250 beds and 60 ICU beds. The hospital features onsite lab and x-ray, and uses the EPIC documentation system. The team consists of one current surgeon and two mid-level providers, supporting your practice to deliver excellent patient care.
