Health and Life Sciences Systems and Solutions Engineer

Job Overview Intel’s Health and Life Sciences (HLS) vertical develops intelligent medical devices and life sciences instruments. The Roadmap and Solutions Manager will shape long‑term product strategy and deliver customer‑centric solutions. Key Responsibilities Own roadmap requirements aligned to business objectives, device strategies and market needs. Translate industry trends, customer insights and regulatory considerations into clear roadmap priorities. Partner with product management, engineering and architecture to ensure feasibility and alignment with platform strategies. Support annual and quarterly planning cycles by developing roadmap narratives, options and scenario analyses. Identify portfolio gaps, overlaps and risks, and drive alignment and prioritization across stakeholders. Partner with device architects and technical leads to shape future state solutions for priority customers. Act as a bridge between market requirements and internal execution, ensuring solutions meet real‑world constraints. Develop solution positioning, value propositions and capability definitions with technical and business stakeholders. Support customer, partner and ecosystem engagements by articulating solution direction and differentiation. Capture learnings from engagements and feed back into roadmap evolution. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering). 5+ years in Health and Life Sciences industry (medical devices, life sciences instrumentation, digital health, regulated healthcare technologies). 3+ years product, platform or solution roadmap planning, portfolio management or strategy experience. 1+ years translating ambiguous market signals into structured priorities and roadmaps. Preferred Qualifications Experience with edge computing, AI/ML or data‑intensive workloads in healthcare or life sciences. Understanding of regulatory, privacy and reliability considerations in medical or life sciences systems. Direct engagement with customers, partners or ecosystem stakeholders in a technical or strategic role. Cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, product, architecture and go‑to‑market teams. Excellent executive‑level communication skills. Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline. Benefits Competitive pay, stock bonuses, health, retirement and vacation benefits.
