We are a team of resilient, forward-thinking innovators driving the AI revolution.Position Summary:We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant who ideally has experience with lease accounting to join our Finance team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ASC 842, supporting the month-end close process, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain financial accuracy and process efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting principles, analytical skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accounting system including booking journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis.Support month-end and year-end close activities related to accrued liabilities and prepaids, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and variance reviews.Ensure accuracy and completeness of all assigned financial reporting areas.Adhere to and support internal control processes and policies.Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit procedures.Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to assist in management decision-making and strategic planning.Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies within accounting workflows and systems.Partner with cross-functional teams to gather required financial data and support business initiatives.Stay informed on updates in accounting regulations and industry best practices to maintain expertise in financial reporting standards.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experienceMinimum of 2 years of general accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting settingProficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teamsComfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred Qualifications:CPA certification is strongly preferred.Experience in Data Center, Technology Infrastructure, or Energy Operations industries.Familiarity with lease accounting (ASC 842) and operating cost allocation.Essential Skills:Communication: Clear verbal and written communication to document incidents and ensure proper shift handoffs.Collaboration: Ability to work closely with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.Adaptability: Flexible in responding to changes in process, tools, environment, and shift assignments.Accountability: Takes ownership of assigned tasks and follows through with minimal supervision.Attention to Detail: Maintains thorough and accurate logs, inspections, records, and documentation.Time Management: Manages time effectively to meet performance expectations and service levels.Integrity: Adheres to company policies, safety protocols, and professional ethics always.Continuous Improvement Mindset: Recommends and supports efficiency, safety, and system innovations.Documentation Discipline: Maintains clear, consistent records for operational continuity and compliance.Security Compliance: Maintains awareness of data center physical and logical security expectations.Digital Literacy: Uses productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Excel, ticketing systems) for communication and documentation in office or hybrid settings.Physical Requirements:Able to remain in a seated position for an extended period and to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
