Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg/PCU - NightsThis is a 13-week contract position.NightsWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in the MedSurg/PCU department. The ideal candidate must possess a WA nursing license and be flexible across various departments as needed. The role requires commitment through the holiday season with minimal requests for time off (RTO).Responsibilities:Identify patient and significant other needs for education and provide appropriate education using diverse modalities.Ensure patient safety through preventative measures, which include the correct application of restraints and equipment safety protocols.Demonstrate knowledge of safe operation and troubleshooting of all equipment in the PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas.Implement and document infection control and isolation procedures, adhering to standard precautions.Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and concise documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and responses during each shift.Accurately document charge and complete physician orders in a timely manner.Conduct 24-hour checks on orders, preparing and delivering detailed change of shift reports to oncoming staff.Communicate effectively with other departments and report critical lab values to physicians in accordance with established protocols.Maintain and restock emergency carts, room, and general supplies as necessary.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Active Washington state RN licensure required.Experience in MedSurg/PCU required.Flexibility to work in various departments as necessary.Willingness to commit through the holiday season.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
