You will work closely with machinists, process engineers, and production leads to validate programs during first-article runs and stabilize processes. Onsite in Irvine, CA.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamCreate, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes using Esprit CAM softwareDevelop part setups, fixturing, machining strategies, operation sequences, tool selection, and speed/feed parameters for new productsPrepare setup sheets and tool lists showing reference points and cutting pathsSuggest and implement program improvements; revise programs to remove errors or omissionsSupport operators during first article runs and process stabilizationAnalyze method and material changes and contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activitiesMaintain technical knowledge through workshops and technical publicationsPerform cross-functional tasks and support the team as neededHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleDemonstrable experience with Esprit programming software (non-negotiable)Proven experience with mill programming (non-negotiable)Completion of a related trade school program, AA, or equivalent training; or equivalent technical/production experienceAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawingsKnowledge of N/C tooling, appropriate speeds and feeds for machined materials, and proper machine sequencesAbility to work with general direction, prioritize tasks, and solve problems independentlyExperience applying continuous improvement methods to manufacturing functionsPreferred: roughly two years' experience at the NC Programmer levelHere's What Else Might Help You OutFamiliarity with MastercamGeneral knowledge of the aerospace industry and machine shop operationsExperience with process mapping or production automation toolsPay Range$29.83- $40.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
