Regional Human Resources Director

Job Title: Regional Human Resources Director Pay: $140,000 - $180,000 annually Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with an established organization to identify an experienced Regional Human Resources Director. This strategic leadership role supports multiple business locations across a regional footprint and partners closely with senior leadership to develop people strategies that drive organizational performance, employee engagement, compliance, and business success. Job Description The Regional Human Resources Director is responsible for providing both strategic and operational HR leadership across multiple business locations. This role partners with leadership to support workforce planning, employee relations, talent initiatives, compliance, and organizational development while ensuring HR practices align with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting leaders and employees across multiple business locations. Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support organizational goals. Serve as the primary Human Resources resource for multiple locations within an assigned region. Provide guidance on employee relations, leadership coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and talent development. Lead, mentor, and develop an HR team while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including California employment laws. Support organizational growth, workforce planning, and business transformation initiatives. Partner with internal stakeholders to support key people initiatives and organizational objectives. Leverage HR metrics and operational insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Provide guidance on labor relations matters and support union-related activities when applicable. Promote consistent HR practices and recommend improvements to policies and processes as needed. Travel to regional locations as needed to support leaders, employees, and business operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience. At least 2 years of leadership experience managing a team of four or more employees. Experience supporting multi-state HR operations, including California. Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR compliance. Experience partnering with senior and executive leadership. Demonstrated success leading organizational change and business initiatives. Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel approximately 20–30% as business needs require. Ability to work onsite three days per week in the Los Angeles area. Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
