PRN CT Technologist

Role Overview: This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in CT and radiography, to provide safe, high-quality patient care. The technologist independently sets up equipment, positions patients, and ensures imaging quality while adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Key Responsibilities Verify clinician orders, review patient history, and assess contraindications. Prepare patients, explain procedures, and maintain patient dignity and comfort. Operate imaging equipment, adjust techniques to minimize radiation dose, and ensure image quality. Administer contrast media safely and respond to emergencies. Document procedures accurately and process images for interpretation. Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and support department operations. Participate in training, quality control, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion. Current ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred. Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control procedures.
