Step into an exciting contract opportunity providing vital speech-language services within a supportive school district located in the Greater Albay area near Independence, OR. As a dedicated professional, you'll make a significant difference in students' lives while enjoying flexible remote work options—all with the convenience of teletherapy.
Your expertise will be put to use across two schools, where you'll have a manageable caseload and the chance to truly engage with young learners. Whether you’re a seasoned SLP with CCC, have a background in healthcare or pediatrics, or are starting your Clinical Fellowship Year, this position offers a rewarding blend of direct student impact and professional collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Oregon SLP license required
- Experience or interest in school-based speech-language services
- SLP-CCC, CFY, and pediatric or healthcare SLP background welcome
- Teletherapy experience is highly valued
- Capacity to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging therapy plans for K-12 students
- Evaluate and document student progress, collaborating with staff and families
- Deliver virtual services (teletherapy) to meet caseload requirements
- Work either 0.8 FTE or 0.6 FTE schedules, depending on assignment
- Participate in meetings and professional learning, both remotely and in-person as needed
