Substitute Custodian

JWP Schools has an opening for the following position. Day or evening shift may be available on an on-call/on-demand basis. Duties may include the following: vacuum carpets in classrooms, entry ways, and office areas; clean restrooms; dust entryways and halls; empty garbage cans; clean windows; clean classroom furniture; clean and/or change lightbulbs; other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements: This work requires the frequent exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, pushing or pulling and repetitive motions, frequently requires climbing or balancing and occasionally requires speaking or hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms and lifting; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts and observing general surroundings and activities; work occasionally requires exposure to blood borne pathogens and may be required to wear specialized personal protective equipment and bodily fluids; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
