Supervisor - Colorectal Surgery Clinic

Summary of the role: A supervisory position responsible for independently coordinating and directing complex and specialized clinic operational duties and staff, with accountability for optimizing the clinic support service workflow and quality improvement efforts. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of support processes and procedures for a clinical department; participates in strategies for monitoring and assuring quality. Responsible for hiring and disciplinary processes in conjunction with the department manager and performs annual performance evaluations. Actively participates on the Clinic Management Team. Responsibilities Coordinate and direct complex and specialized clinic operational duties and staff. Optimize the clinic support service workflow. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of support processes and procedures required in a clinical department. Assist in formulating strategies for monitoring and assuring quality and quality improvement. Responsible for hiring and disciplinary processes in conjunction with the department manager. Perform annual performance evaluations. Actively participate on the Clinic Management Team. Qualifications Required: 5 years front office experience in a medical clinic setting, with lead or supervisory experience. Preferred: Graduate of a secretarial program or Associate's Degree.
