Are you ready to make a difference in the world of insurance? As an Underwriter specializing in Property and Casualty Insurance, you'll play a pivotal role in evaluating risks and ensuring tailored insurance solutions for our clients. In this role, you'll assess individual insurance applications to determine whether to accept, modify, or decline risks. You'll evaluate factors such as property value, location, usage, and safety features to make informed decisions. By working closely with field teams, you'll gather critical information to support and defend your underwriting choices. While this position does not include production goals, you'll provide essential support to senior underwriters in managing accounts and delivering exceptional service.

About you: Required: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office. Behaviors: Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
