Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care. Job Description:

Responsible for providing clinical support to the inpatient nursing staff regarding discharge planning and process.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a specialty course and/or equivalent. Bachelors’s Degree and Master’s preferred.

Experience:

Two years acute care experience. Previous stroke/chest pain program experience preferred.

License/Certification:

Current RN license in the State of Nevada., Current BLS Certification, Current ACLS Certification. Candidates hired or transferred into specialty training course may have up to six (6) months to obtain required certifications with signed waiver.

Other:

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Testing: Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
