Autonomous Vehicle Operator

Autonomous Vehicle OperatorISEE is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operator to join our Deployment & Operations Launch teams. The AVO will help to support the operations and development of software and hardware on our Autonomous Yard Trucks (AYTs) and launch this technology in our customers' yards. You will be responsible for real-time monitoring of all systems onboard and offboard the vehicle while providing clear and concise feedback and reporting.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and support Autonomous Yard Trucks in real-time during operationsProvide troubleshooting technical support for any HW or SW issues that occur on prototype vehiclesReview log data of system failures and disengagements of autonomy systemIsolate, track, document, and triage issues systematicallyUpdate knowledge base and diagnostic trees to maximize troubleshooting efficiencyInteract with our customers as an ambassador for ISEE's technologyQualificationsAt least 21 years of age and at least 5 years of driving experienceThe ability to operate independently with little or no supervisionExcellent written and verbal communicationTechnical acumen and familiarity with Linux, Google Suite, Jira, Slack, and Git are preferredStrong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software and processesProven interest and technical capability to work with modern automotive systemsExperience in a professional work environment where safety, honesty, procedure, and/or software testing is emphasizedDetail-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and procedureAbility to work in close quarters in a professional manner for extended periods of timeMust have a valid U. S. driver's license and clean driving history, validated by a regular MVR checkMust continually pass safety and performance checkpoints for continued employmentPass a criminal background checkUse a laptop in a moving vehicle for up to 10 hours per dayWork in outdoor conditions for up to 10 hours per dayAble to work on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, early mornings, and holidaysAbility to travel at short noticeThe expectation of this role is to be on-site and able to travel to customer sites in the Dallas-Fort Worth region when needed.
