About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience required. License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - Proficient experience in DaVinci robotics required. - Proficient experience in orthopedic surgery including total joints and spine required. - Proficient experience in general surgery required. - Well-rounded operating room RN with the ability to circulate various cases independently. - EPIC electronic medical record experience required. - Spine experience required. - Travel experience within the previous 15 months required. - Scrub experience is a nice-to-have. - Mako equipment experience is highly preferred. - Rosa equipment experience is highly preferred. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the operating room. This position requires proficiency in multiple surgical disciplines. The nurse will be responsible for circulating and managing patient care during surgeries. Experience in robotic surgical systems is essential. Candidates should be able to handle orthopedic, spine, and general surgical cases. Flexibility to work on designated holidays is required. A thorough understanding of electronic medical records is necessary for effective documentation. Successful candidates will have a strong background in operating room nursing. All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility. Past employees of the system are not eligible for rehire within the previous 12 months.
