Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Afternoons Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Must-Have: - Proficient experience in DaVinci robotics - Proficient experience in orthopedic procedures including total joints and spine - Proficient experience in general surgery - Well-rounded operating room RN capable of circulating various cases independently - Experience with EPIC electronic medical records - Travel experience within the previous 15 months Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse. Candidates must possess a minimum of 24 months of experience in the operating room. Experience with DaVinci robotics is required. Proficient skills in orthopedic procedures, including total joints and spine, are essential. Experience in general surgery is also required. Candidates should be well-rounded and able to circulate various cases independently. Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system is necessary. Travel experience within the last 15 months is mandatory. Scrub experience is a nice to have but not required. Experience with Mako and Rosa equipment is highly preferred, as a significant percentage of total joints cases utilize these technologies.
