Weekend Day Shift Rn Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and dependable RN Supervisor to lead our clinical team on the weekend day shift (7:00 AM 3:00 PM). This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during the weekend day shift
• Provide clinical leadership and support to ensure excellent resident care
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Oversee medication administration and treatment services
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
• Complete incident reports and follow up as appropriate
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (skilled nursing/long-term care preferred)
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
