Medical Assistant

Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 20 Weeks
Shift: Day | 8:30 AM–4:30 PM OR 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 30-minute unpaid lunch break. No weekends or holidays.
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted

Pay Rate: $25–$30/hr

Required Qualifications:

BLS certification — Required
High School Diploma or GED — Required
Phlebotomy experience — Required
Medical Assistant certification
1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
Experience working in an OBGYN practice
Ability to chaperone providers during examinations and procedures

Responsibilities:

Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures in an OBGYN practice
Chaperone providers during patient examinations and procedures
Perform phlebotomy and routine Medical Assistant duties
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and healthcare staff
Follow safety, infection-control, and patient privacy standards
Provide general clinical support for daily OBGYN practice operations
