Associate Video Producer

To support USA TODAY's entertainment vertical, the part-time Associate Video Producer will manage content programming, AI-assisted video production, and visual storytelling, focusing on red carpet moments, celebrity interviews, and viral trends while working remotely. Key responsibilities Program and optimize visual content across various platforms, making real-time editorial decisions to enhance audience engagement Produce high-volume short-form video content and create vertical videos for social media platforms Curate entertainment photo galleries and collaborate with newsroom teams on visual storytelling initiatives Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, digital media, or a related field 2-5 years of experience in digital media, content production, or visual storytelling for an entertainment news publisher Experience with content programming and video production for digital platforms Strong understanding of SEO, audience development, and analytics tools like Parse.ly and Google Analytics Familiarity with AI-assisted production tools and video rights management
