Job Title : Sales Account Representative Location: Kansas City, MO Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person | B2B Sales About the Role MCL Talent Partners is recruiting on behalf of a client expanding its Kansas City team. This is an in-person sales position focused on developing relationships with local business owners and decision-makers, conducting client consultations, and supporting business accounts throughout the Kansas City area. No previous B2B sales experience is required. The client provides structured training, field mentorship, licensing support, and ongoing coaching. This opportunity may be a strong fit for candidates coming from retail, hospitality, customer service, management, logistics, or other people-focused backgrounds who are interested in transitioning into professional sales. What You’ll Do Build relationships with local business owners and decision-makers Develop new business accounts and conduct face-to-face client consultations Present voluntary workplace benefit options to employers and employees Manage appointments, client communication, and account follow-up Track sales activity and client relationships using CRM tools Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and professional development Qualifications Strong communication skills and confidence working with business clients Coachable, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently Organized with strong follow-through and relationship-building skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to complete required state licensing (Licensing is required; support is provided through the onboarding process.) Previous sales experience can be helpful but is not required. Schedule & Work Setting Monday–Friday daytime schedule Full-time In-person and field-based throughout the Kansas City area No regular nights or weekends Training & Career Development The client provides structured onboarding, one-on-one field mentorship, ongoing sales coaching, and professional development. Representatives who consistently meet performance expectations may have opportunities to take on additional responsibility and advance into leadership roles.
