Pay Rate: $16.67 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) Armed Guard Card/License Job Schedule Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and communicate with site contacts and local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures. Support emergency and medical response activities, assist with evacuations and/or restricted area control, and complete required reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily operations. Minimum Requirements An armed guard card/license is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
