Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $15.50 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) 21+ Years of Age (C101) Active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only) (C122) Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) Job Schedule DayTime Mon 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM DayTime Tue 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM DayTime Wed 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, checking for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response. Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, assisting with de-escalation, and coordinating with local law enforcement when appropriate. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
