Join BEHAVIORS WITH PURPOSE LLC as a Registered Behavior Technician in Fort Myers, FL! This exciting opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Conduct direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients to promote skill acquisition.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes.
- Assist in the development and modification of behavior intervention strategies.
- Provide support to clients in various settings, including home and community environments.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with families.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance professional development.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging environment for clients during sessions.
- Must hold a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field is a plus.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various hours.
- Background check clearance and CPR/First Aid certification required.
