Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)

This is a night shift position, working 4 shifts of 12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend shifts are required, with a total of six weekend shifts in a six-week period.

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) will provide high-quality care to patients in a short-term acute care setting. As a nursing professional, you will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, contributing to patient care plans, and ensuring effective communication with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient health status and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Utilize Epic charting system to document patient care.
• Implement infection control measures and patient safety protocols.
• Float between units as necessary to meet patient care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is essential.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5.
