Litigation (Business and Commercial) Associate
BCG Attorney Search
A law firm seeks an Associate to join its Litigation group, Business and Commercial subgroup in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and a strong background in California state court proceedings. This role offers an opportunity to engage in complex litigation and transactional matters. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client matters. Prepare clear and accurate legal documents and correspondence. Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality legal services. Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals to achieve favorable outcomes. Manage and support complex litigation and dispute resolution matters. Develop case strategies and assess litigation risks and opportunities. Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents. Conduct and defend depositions and witness interviews. Participate in court appearances, hearings, and settlement negotiations. Manage discovery processes and collaborate with internal teams. Requirements 2+ years of business and commercial experience. California state court experience required. Federal court clerkship is a plus. Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and good professional judgment.
