Senior Estimator (Federal Market)

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator to build out GC estimating department (Federal). $140,000 - $150,000

Our client is a well-established but rapidly growing construction company specializing in high-quality commercial and federal projects. With a strong commitment to excellence, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead their estimating division.


Your new role


As the Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future. Your expertise will drive success as they continue to expand their project portfolio. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, have a keen eye for detail, and excel at risk assessment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities will include;

Estimate subcontractor bids within the DC metro area, leveraging your extensive network of federal industry contacts.
Navigate the federal marketplace, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
Lead the development of the estimating division, building a strong team.
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
Contribute to their annual estimation efforts, collectively totaling $600 million.

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 10 years' experience in GC project bidding (projects ranging from $250,000 to $25 million).
Established relationships with subcontractors.
Familiarity with GSA, NIH, Pentagon, JOCs, and Task Orders.
Proven track record of successful risk management.
Ability to mentor and guide.
