Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Facility in New Hartford, New York, where collaboration among therapists and support staff enhances patient care. The workspace is designed to create a positive and nurturing ambience, allowing you to focus on patient interactions and rehabilitation. You will work a predictable schedule, Monday through Friday, either from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, which supports a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect individual needs.
• Administer a variety of rehabilitation techniques, including therapeutic exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, fostering enhanced outcomes.
• Participate in clinical teaching, offering guidance and support to interns and newly licensed physical therapy practitioners.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical research projects that advance best practices within our orthopedic specialty.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Restore Strength Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. You will engage with a varied demographic that includes athletes, seniors, and everyday individuals navigating functional challenges to enhance their quality of life. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current and active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting, demonstrating advanced skills in evaluation and treatment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and staff.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities to adapt treatment strategies to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy preferred but not required.
• Experience with evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, Restore Strength Physical Therapy provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
