Job Title: Operating Room RN – Surgical
Location: Weston, WV
Setting: Ambulatory OR, General OR
Pay Range: $43.46 - $45.63 per hour
Schedule: 37.5 Hours per Week 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Days, 5x8s) (Note: On call (every 4th weekday & every 4th weekend, some holidays))
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local candidates only – travel stipend not available

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as an RN
• Qualified applicants MUST have BLS and ACLS certifications
• Certifications PALS and NRP preferred
• Valid RN license
• Be willing to obtain West Virginia licensure
• Experience with Endoscopic Procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, Peg tube placement/exchange), General Surgery (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernia repair, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy), Gynecology (Hysterectomy, C-sections), Ophthalmology (Cataract extraction), Orthopedic (ACL reconstruction, Arthroscopy), Pediatric General Surgery (Appendectomy), ENT (Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy), and bronchoscopy

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a clinical setting, the RN will:

• Coordinate and assist with operating room procedures in the Surg/PACU/Endo environment, utilizing specialized RN skills.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and manage equipment including colonoscopy, EGD, and Peg tube placements, demonstrating expertise in these areas.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols during surgeries such as appendectomy, hernia repair, or cataract extraction, consistently utilizing industry keywords and best practices.
