OB Tech - Night Shift

Answers the phone and intercom promptly and courteously, assisting individuals if possible .. Maintains patient census, bed boards, and room assignments. Logs mother and baby information and tag numbers .. Maintains the communication booklet. Records and types monthly meeting minutes .. Assists with ordering department supplies. Completes daily unit stock list and stocks blanket warmer and IV trays .. Enters vital signs, orders patient diets in the electronic medical record. Completes online birth scores .. Keeps all nurse stations clean and orderly and hallways free of clutter. Generalized department cleaning including removal of excess trash and linen within the department. Replace sharps containers as needed .. Assists with room setup for deliveries and circumcisions, as well as clean up. Cleans isolette after C-sections and return to OR.8.
