Radiology Technician- CT TECH (Cat Scan) Jersey City

Job Description We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team! This is a 13‑week travel contract for a CT Scan Technician in the Jersey City area. The role involves preparing patients for procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and setting exposure to capture the required results. You will also assist in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail. 1 portable Philips unit 4 GE C‑Arms in main hospital 2 GE C‑Arms in ASC Responsibilities Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment Qualifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with medical charting desired Strong attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
