Maintenance Associate

Maintenance AssociateU.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand is currently looking for a Maintenance Associate to join our VALUES based organization in our Barclay, MD. branch. Working hours are 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. In this role you will focus on:Performs preventative and routine maintenance of machines and equipment in accordance with SOP's and established schedules.Troubleshoot equipment problems and performs non routine maintenance repairs of equipmentUtilizes CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for entry of maintenance work orders and inventoryAssist with general light-duty maintenance tasksComplete special maintenance projects as neededPerform daily janitorial dutiesConduct monthly fire extinguisher inspectionsClean and maintain eyewash stationsOperate a forklift as needed (must have experience)Requirements:Prior experience with forklift operationGeneral maintenance and janitorial experience preferredAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyAttention to safety and detail in all tasksFactory training and certification in diagnostic softwareProgrammable Logic Controller (PLC) experience a plusValid Driver's License requiredExcellent written, organization, communication and service skills requiredSpecialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
