Job Title: Technical Recruiter

Location : East Austin

Type: Contract to Hire

Pay: $45 – $50 / hour with flexibility based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Work Arrangement : Hybrid – in office 3 days/week; additional in-office time may be required during the first few weeks for training and to build relationships with hiring managers.

Benefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vison and 401k.

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join a fast-paced Talent Acquisition team on a 6-month contract. This is a high-volume recruiting environment where the ability to source strong technical talent, manage multiple requisitions, adapt quickly, and bring structure to changing priorities will be critical.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of recruiting experience, strong technical sourcing skills, and experience recruiting across areas such as AI, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, IT, Software Engineering, Digital Solutions, and Project Management.

This team is open to both agency and corporate recruiting backgrounds and welcomes someone who can bring fresh ideas, creative sourcing strategies, and a different perspective to the recruiting process.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume requisition load, typically 10–20 open positions during the contract
• Source, identify, screen, and engage qualified candidates for technical and corporate positions
• Recruit for roles across AI, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, IT, Software Engineering, Digital Solutions, Project Management, and related areas
• Utilize LinkedIn, Indeed, other job boards, and recruiting tools to identify and attract qualified talent
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill technical positions
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements and candidate profiles
• Conduct candidate screening and interviews while evaluating both technical qualifications and overall fit
• Manage candidates throughout the recruiting process and provide a positive candidate experience
• Adapt recruiting strategies and priorities as business needs change
• Help bring organization and structure to a fast-paced and frequently changing environment
• Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional recruiting experience
• Strong experience with technical recruiting and sourcing
• Strong ATS experience; SAP SuccessFactors experience is preferred but not required
• Strong proficiency with Excel and recruiting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy within manual processes
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Bachelor's degree required
