This highly visible role is critical to managing supply in constrained infrastructure categories, presenting to leadership, and interfacing with our strategic partners on direction.The ideal candidate will drive commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, long-term capacity planning, and supply chain resiliency. Accommodations to this requirement may be granted following an individualized assessment.ResponsibilitiesLeads cross-line-of-business teams to drive competitive cost, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiencies. Develops and executes strategic sourcing strategies for Memory and Storage products and technologies, including supplier selection, commercial negotiations, pricing, and long-term supply commitments.Partners with Engineering, Product, and supplier teams to align technical requirements and technology roadmaps with sourcing strategies and supply planning.Creates and implements supply chain initiatives and improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices. Provides balanced judgment and demonstrates problem-solving skills in extremely complex and ambiguous situations. Creates an environment that allows for exploration and deployment of new ideas.Mentors and provides leadership to other colleagues. Sets an example of agility and adaptability. Builds constructive stakeholder relationships involving direct interaction and influence with different Oracle lines of business and Oracle suppliers. Acts as the primary interface in the management of supplier relationships.QualificationsExperience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or related technical and commercial roles.Strong commercial negotiation skills, including pricing strategy, supplier agreements, and supply commitments.Understanding of Memory and Storage technologies, semiconductor industry dynamics, and supplier technology roadmaps.Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, and executive stakeholders.Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous, and rapidly changing business environments.Preferred QualificationsSemiconductor industry experience, particularly in DRAM, NAND, SSD, or related Memory and Storage technologies.Experience in semiconductor or memory strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and long-term capacity planning.Experience aligning supplier technology roadmaps with business and engineering requirements.Semiconductor product marketing experience with strong technical and commercial knowledge may also be considered.Location: Santa Clara, CA | Seattle, WA | Austin, TX | Nashville, TNAbout the companyOnly Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care.
