Position Overview The Licensed Insurance Sales Producer is responsible for driving new business, supporting existing clients and contributing to overall agency growth. This is a full‑time, in‑agency role for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, closing business, and helping clients make informed insurance decisions. Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Hands on Training Mon‑Fri Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Responsibilities Present and explain insurance coverage options based on client needs and risk profiles Meet or exceed new business production goals set with the Agent Prospect and generate new business through agency‑provided leads and referrals Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and cross selling Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve questions or concerns Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines and coverage changes Accurately document client interactions and sales activity in agency systems Qualifications Bilingual Spanish speaker Active Texas General or Personal Lines Property & Casualty insurance license required Texas General Lines Life, Accident, Health & HMO license preferred but not required Prior sales or customer‑facing experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and follow‑up skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Self‑motivated with a sense of urgency and accountability Ability to work a full‑time, in‑office schedule weekdays Must pass a background check including state, federal, and county criminal history Requirements Compensation & Benefits Base salary plus commission on new business Bonus opportunities based on performance Career development and growth potential Hands‑on training within the agency and through the District Office Additional benefits may vary by individual agency Physical & Work Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer or telephone Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically Ability to operate standard office equipment, computers, telephones and printers Ability to lift & carry up to 15 pounds occasionally (i.e. files, laptop or marketing materials) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act and applicable state laws.
