Peachtree Academy, a premier PreK–12 independent school , is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic faculty team 3 days per week minimum with 5 days optional!

As our High School Spanish Teacher, you will:

Design engaging, interactive Spanish lessons using our curriculum

Bring Hispanic culture, history, and traditions to life

️ Build student confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening

Create a respectful, positive, and engaging classroom environment

Maintain high expectations while making learning FUN

• Plan and deliver dynamic Spanish I–III (or higher) instruction that develops listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Create interactive classroom experiences that bring language and culture to life.
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback for academic growth.
• Planning some activities that would enhance the classroom experience - Latin museums, festivals, and activities
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enrich school-wide learning.
• Participate in school events, clubs, and student activities that support a vibrant campus culture.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field
• Valid Georgia teaching certification or eligibility preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Spanish
• Experience teaching high school students
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Outgoing personality

Knowledge of Spanish-speaking countries, culture, and some traditions

• Salary is based on experience and skill set

About Peachtree Prep, our Early Childhood Division

The early childhood division of the school bases its academic program on a weekly unit of study for academic advancement. Teachers use lesson plans to guide the delivery of information and address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement that are needed. Parents may supplement the curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme for the benefit of the class.
