Benefits Competitive salary Flexible schedule Free uniforms Leadership roles Flexible hours Great pay Valuable work experience Increased social opportunities Future references/referrals Responsibilities Ambassador of the Goldfish Swim School Brand Interacts with customers, including adults and children Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum or answers any questions current and potential customers have regarding our program Maintains lifeguard credentials throughout employment Reports accidents and incidents to management. Completes required documentation and paperwork. Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer. Requirements Ability to work with children Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills Must pass background examinations (included with training) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Education/Experience High school diploma or GED is preferred, or currently in High School. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor swim instructor and/or childcare provider preferred. Certificates and Licenses Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. Paid training for those not certified is provided. Work Environment While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate. Must be at least 15 years old to apply.
