Our organization in Jacksonville, Florida, is on the lookout for a full-time Medical Oncologist to enhance our esteemed Cancer Medicine team. This role will contribute to the expansion of our multidisciplinary Genitourinary Oncology Program. Candidates with a robust background in genitourinary oncology are preferred, though recent fellows with a strong commitment and impressive academic records will also be considered.

There are opportunities for professional development and leadership roles within the Division of Cancer Medicine, including involvement in our quality and clinical research initiatives.

The ideal candidate will:

• Serve as the GU lead and collaborate with our four urologists to enhance the multidisciplinary program.
• Exhibit a commitment to our patient-centered, multidisciplinary integrated cancer care model, including participation in quality improvement and research initiatives.
• Be a fellow with a proven track record in GU or an experienced Genitourinary Medical Oncologist.
• Support the clinical, scholarly, and research objectives of our program, including the development of standard protocols for patient care and enhancement of quality metrics and research activities.
• Demonstrate the passion, communication, interpersonal skills, and collaborative spirit necessary to establish a thriving clinical practice and foster productive scholarship.
• Be eligible for an adjunct academic appointment at UTMDACC, based on clinical and scholarly accomplishments.
• Possess or be eligible for certification in Medical Oncology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License and DEA license.
• Join a team comprising 20 medical oncologists and 4 urologists.
