A leading AmLaw firm with a premier national and international platform is seeking a Corporate Partner to build out its growing Washington, DC office.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and other sophisticated corporate matters, with a strong record of client development, deep transactional expertise, and the ability to contribute effectively in a highly collaborative practice.

Representative Experience

• Public and private M&A transactions, including domestic and cross-border matters

• Private equity buyouts, exits, platform investments, and add-on acquisitions

• Joint ventures, strategic investments, and complex corporate transactions

• Corporate governance and general corporate advisory matters

• Transactional counseling for boards, sponsors, and management teams

• Complex transaction structuring, negotiation, and execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant portable business

• Deep experience in M&A, private equity, or other sophisticated corporate transactions

• Demonstrated success developing and maintaining client relationships

• Experience at a nationally recognized law firm or similarly sophisticated corporate practice

• Strong reputation for client service, collaboration, and business development

• International or cross-border transaction experience is a plus
