JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The College of Engineering, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering is seeking applicants for part‑time job of Undergrad Research Assistant. Job duties to include: Support the design, fabrication, and testing of mechanical fixtures for battery pack assembly and research. Assist with CAD design, prototyping, fixture validation, and technical documentation. Develop fixture concepts for locating, holding, and securing battery pack components. Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings. Perform fit checks and evaluate fixture alignment, rigidity, and repeatability. Document design iterations, test results, and engineering changes. Compensation: The hourly rate for this job is $15.00. Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
