Mailer Packer - Temp to Hire

Mailer Packer – Georgia Pacific (McDonough, GA) Pay: $18.00/hr. (Days) – $19.00/hr. (Nights) Shift: This facility works a Dupont schedule (rotating 12‑hour shifts). You will work both shifts on a rotating basis, which are 6:45 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. and 6:45 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. There are days off between your night and day rotations. Only candidates who can work on this schedule will be considered. Georgia‑Pacific’s Mailers is a part of the Packaging and Cellulose business, and the Mailers business is expanding its product lines to create and launch new products that complement our already thriving recyclable padded mailer business. What You’ll Do Perform visual quality inspections of finished product Ensure correct packaging materials, counts, and labels Stack product into boxes and onto skids Assist line operators with wash‑ups, changeovers, and startups Maintain clean work areas and follow all safety procedures Read and follow written and verbal job instructions Lift and move 20 to 25 lbs. regularly; repetitive handwork for 80% of shift Perform housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, picking up paper around the lines, and maintaining a clean work area. #J-18808-Ljbffr
