Responsibilities
- Provide direct obstetric nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients on the L&D unit
- Monitor fetal status using fetal heart monitoring; perform IUPC placement/calibration; triage and respond to obstetric concerns
- Assist with high-risk deliveries; circulate and recover during C-sections; support sterile vaginal exams
- Administer medications such as magnesium sulfate, antihypertensives, and anticoagulation as ordered; manage insulin drips and central line maintenance as appropriate
- Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and neonatal teams; maintain accurate documentation in the charting system and follow PPE/isolation protocols
- Manage patient flow, care plans, and patient/family education as needed

Requirements
- Current RN license in Idaho or a compact state; license must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; labor and delivery experience preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM
- Ability to work in a teaching-hospital L&D unit; capable of managing high-risk obstetric patients
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
