Welder - SuncoreAt Suncore, we're looking for an experienced Welder who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys tackling challenging repairs, and can work confidently across a variety of welding, fabrication, and machining tasks. If you bring strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to safety, you'll have the opportunity to put your expertise to work supporting the equipment and operations that keep our business running.ScheduleMonday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Occasional weekends and night work as operational needs require.What You'll DoPerform custom fabrication, structural repairs, and equipment repairs using MIG, TIG, stick welding, plasma cutting, and oxy-fuel cutting torches.Operate equipment such as plasma tables, lathes, mills, ironworkers, band saws, and hydraulic presses to fabricate, modify, and repair components.Apply your knowledge of welding, machining, and line boring to troubleshoot problems and deliver reliable, lasting repairs.Operate forklifts and aerial equipment as needed to safely handle materials and complete projects.Produce quality work, care for tools and equipment, and follow established safety procedures.What You BringAt least 5 years of professional welding experience.Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, along with plasma cutting and torch cutting.Experience operating fabrication and machining equipment, including plasma tables, lathes, mills, ironworkers, band saws, and hydraulic presses.Experience with line boring and the ability to perform custom fabrication and equipment repairs.A strong understanding of workplace safety and a commitment to quality workmanship.The ability to work independently, troubleshoot challenges, and take pride in getting the job done right.Best-in-Industry BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage with a generous HSA contribution9 paid holidays15 days of accruable PTO per year401(k) with a 6% company match and profit sharingAccess to mental health servicesPaid pregnancy and parental leaveWeekly pay and more!Current employees must notify their supervisor when applying.Suncore Construction & Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace.
