Responsibilities Performs diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately, ensuring proper patient identification, radiation protection, and high image quality.Completes documentation and exam records correctly and on time; supports workflow and collaborates with team members.Assists radiologists and physicians with procedures, contrast administration, and patient care, following all safety and medication protocols.Operates and maintains radiology equipment properly; reports malfunctions and maintains clean, safe, and organized work areas.Guides and supports patient flow, communication with nursing staff, patient transport, and the education/supervision of students. Qualifications Minimum Requirements:HS diploma or equivalentHolds Permit-to-Practice radiology in the state of Iowa.Certified and holds current registration with the A.R.R.T. as a Radiologic Technologist.Must be able to read and write English.Includes those currently pursuing registration in Mammography, CT, or MRI.
