Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location: Holyoke, MA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Full-time 40 Hours (Evening Shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM) including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. As a critical part of the healthcare team, the RN will provide comprehensive care to patients and work collaboratively to develop and implement treatment plans aimed at promoting patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients and their families.
• Participate actively in the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment rooted in established core principles.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Document patient care and interventions effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the State of Massachusetts is required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of adult and adolescent inpatient psychiatric experience is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience with restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention preferred.
