Cardiology Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner

HCA Houston Healthcare West is seeking an experienced, acute care cardiac electrophysiology focused Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting inpatient and outpatient evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as maintaining patient medical records. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner will consult with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualified Candidates:

• Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Experience in electrophysiology or general cardiology is preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensure to practice as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
