Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $24.00/hour | Temp-to-Hire


About the Opportunity
Snelling Staffing is hiring a Fabricator for a growing Louisville manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with fabrication experience who enjoys working with a variety of equipment to build quality products in a team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities
Fabricate metal components using lasers, water jets, press brakes, plate rollers, saws, grinders, pipe benders, and other fabrication equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
Set up and operate fabrication equipment while changing tooling as needed.
Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, hoists, fixtures, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
Complete electronic production tracking and labeling requirements.
Maintain an organized work area while following 5S standards.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.



Qualifications
1-3+ years of fabrication experience preferred.
Experience operating CNC lasers, press brakes, or similar fabrication equipment is highly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.



Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including non-climate-controlled conditions.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
