As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Response Driver in Wilmington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a dynamic operation while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
